#5 S. Williamsport Mounties ( '11 Prediction 2-8)

The town of Dreams.
Every summer hundreds of screaming fans come to watch them. The town of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania can be heard throughout the county. The smell of popcorn, cotton candy, and pretzels are in the air. Ah! Nothing like the Little League World Series, right? Oh, not to mention the Mounties of the southside on the gridiron. South has fallen off the pace lately in the football world. C'mon Mounties! Win back those fans from the hard ball! Remember the Mounties, Remember the Mounties.

THE GOOD: Offensive Line/ Stadium. South alwas seems to have a lot of beef on the offensive line. The hogs up front will have to protect the new young backfield in southside. Well besides that, South does have a nice stadium. I personally love finding a cozy spot in the spacious bleachers and enjoy a famous South Williamsport slushy.

THE BAD: Defense. South was erratic on the defensive side of the ball. They had guys that would fly all over the place, however, they seem to miss a lot. 355 points allowed by the Mounites last season. 35.5 points a game isn't...terrible, but they can improve. Need to lock down secondary in the summer.

THE UGLY: Schedule. For a team dealing with the "struggles", man it sure doesn't get much easier this upcoming season. South will look to improve with a torturous schedule throughout the season. South has to travel to divisional foes Canton and Sayre, and start the opener at....Bloomsburg. Little different then how the Big Ten conference schools schedule their first games right? Youngstown State for you Ohio State? C'mon now! Back on topic, atleast they finish with Montgomery!

LAST COMMENT: I have South finishing off another below average year at 2-8 this year. Wins over Wellsboro and Montgomery should be about it this year for the Mounties. Need to find a running game and step up on the defensive side of the ball. Hey, Japan will be playing in South in just a few months, learn from that defense!
